Privacy Policy
This website is a company information site. It has no user accounts, no forms, no analytics and no advertising, and it does not set cookies. The personal data we handle is, in practice, the correspondence you choose to send us.
Who we are
North Atlantic International Trading Co. Ltd ("NAITCO", "we") is the data controller for this website. Registered in England, company number 16728248, registered office at 1 St Katharine's Way, London, E1W 1UN. Contact: sales@naitco.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address, anything you include in the message, and any attachments. We use it to answer your enquiry and, where an enquiry becomes a transaction, to perform the contract. Commercial correspondence is retained as a business record for as long as legal and accounting obligations require; other correspondence is deleted when no longer needed.
- Hosting logs. Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site records standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and operation. These are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking or advertising technologies
- No cookies (see the Cookie Policy)
- No selling or renting of personal data to anyone
- No automated decision-making or profiling
Third parties
One page of this site (About) loads publicly available map data from the jsDelivr content delivery network to draw the globe; that request exposes your IP address to the CDN in the same way any web request does. External links — for example to our LinkedIn page — take you to sites governed by their own privacy policies.
Legal basis
We process correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, the performance of a contract. Hosting logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and request a copy in portable form. Write to sales@naitco.co.uk and we will respond directly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the way this website handles personal data changes — for example, if we add a contact form or analytics — this policy will be updated before the change goes live, with the date above revised.
